Percussion, Digital Drums

Roland’s V-Drums continue to push the envelope, seamlessly integrating the physical presence of acoustic drums with the company’s world-leading digital percussion technology. Now, the VAD716 electronic drum set, led by its remarkable V71 drum sound module, is poised to take this realism to new heights while catapulting your drumming to a whole new level. First, the V71 electronic drum sound module features 200 drum kits and over 1,000 instruments, representing an entire percussion universe at your fingertips. Timekeepers at Sweetwater love the newly recorded multi-sampled sound library, created in collaboration with DW, which ensures that you’re getting the most authentic drum sounds available. Tech-savvy drummers will love the DW Soundworks software instrument, which makes transitioning to a computer-based setup seamless. Meanwhile, the Roland Cloud Connect mobile app wirelessly downloads new instrument expansions to keep your setup up to date. There’s also a 6-month Roland Cloud Ultimate membership, a large color display and updated user interface, studio-grade EQs, compressors, and reverb — plus, you can import your own samples. Finally, with balanced main XLR and 1/4-inch outputs, Bluetooth audio/MIDI capability, multiple trigger inputs, and a multichannel USB interface, the Roland V71 module is ready to integrate into any setup. Last but certainly not least, while Roland’s mesh pads have always been top-tier, the latest 7 series is simply astounding.
