Founded in 1996 by producer and DJ Peanut Butter Wolf, Stone Throw Records is a seminal hip-hop record label with a diverse roster of cutting-edge artists. The Roland SP-404 has played a prominent role in Stone Throw’s catalog, providing a creative catalyst to many of the label’s producers and beatmakers. The Stones Throw SP-404 MKII includes ten banks of brand-new music from Kiefer, Sudan Archives, Mndsgn, J.Rocc, and DJ Harrison.
