Robert Godin, owner of Seagull Guitars, has never been satisfied with good enough. His tireless search for a better guitar has created quite a few innovations that are found in every Seagull guitar. For instance, the S6 Original QI’s top is pressure tested for rigidity and stiffness to ensure maximum harmonic vibration. Its unique compound-curved construction adds structural integrity to the guitar and allows for thinner bracing. This method frees the spruce top to vibrate more freely delivering the most harmonically rich acoustic tone possible.

Innovative neck construction

Seagull has taken extra care to ensure that the S6 Original QI’s neck offers and effortless playing experience. Their proprietary Integrated Set Neck design takes advantage of tennon and dovetail-syle designs to provide stable and consistent action that also reduces warping and twisting. Thanks to this integrated system, the S6 Original QI’s neck pitch is perfectly set. This Seagull design assures optimized sound and playability with great consistency from guitar to guitar.
